Enchanted Pathways-Crocheting & Knitting
I started knitting and crocheting at the age of 8. I was 9 years old when I really fell in love with the craft. I was taught by my Grandmother and my Mother. I was taught how to read Japanese graphs and/or look at a garment and make it. I taught myself how to read grids and patterns, and if I get stuck, I have a close friend to help me.

I made this scarf with I love my yarn by Red Heart. This way her friend can throw it in the washer/dyer.

Dream Bird I - Noro Silk Garden Yarn
Each year I try to challenge myself with a new pattern. I found this pattern called the Dream Bird. I wanted to make it for a Christmas present for a special friend who is dear to my heart. I started the project in October of 2013. I didn't finish it until January 2014. I didn't make it in time for Christmas, but the gift was sent to her. I didn't knit the month of November. I ended up with a cold, and I didn't want to touch the scarf.
This was a fun scarf to make - I used a size 2 circular needle - 2 skeins of Noro Silk Garden sock yarn (discontinued)- 2 skeins of Heritage Cascade sock yarn. I made some stitch markers (you will need a lot- in 2 different colors.
A lot of counting and concentration. I did my fair share of mistakes, and back tracking. I handmade it with love =)
Here is the start of a beautiful scarf

Multi-Color Beaded Fingerless Gloves
Multi-Color Fingerless Gloves
8-19-2011
I started these gloves over three times. I was given the pattern by Trish. Instead of adding beads every 3rd row, I added beads every 5th row. I changed the the hand part to all knit stitches instead of the knit 3, purl 2. The fingerless gloves that I am making are a size large.
